Farm Softball
The MTZ Youth Baseball & Softball Association is a non-profit, independent organization under the umbrella of the Mt. Zion Youth Sports Organization. The purpose of the league is to promote the sports of baseball and softball to school-aged boys and girls of the Mt. Zion community. Players participating in the MTZ Youth Baseball & Softball leagues will learn the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and personal responsibility; while developing skills, tactics, and strategy for the sports.
MTZ YOUTH FARM LEAGUE DIVISIONS:
PEE WEE Girls - Pre-K & Kindergarten
PINTO Girls - 1st & 2nd grade
TRI-COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISIONS:
FRESHMAN Girls - 3rd & 4th grade
SOPHOMORE Girls - 5th & 6th grade
JUNIOR Girls - 7th & 8th grade
Important Information
- Farm will begin practice the end of May, with games the first week of June
- Tri-County will start the end of April
- Practices and games will vary by age group but will be scheduled for 1-2 weeknights and possibly Saturdays. When games start, they may still practice 1 night per week, and typically have 1-2 games per week.
- Practices and games are held at Mt. Zion Ball Diamonds and the Dalton City Diamond. Tri-County League games will include minimal travel.
- Each player will need to purchase a jersey when they register. Hats can be added for an additional fee.
